At Kinich High School, we value diversity and believe in providing an inclusive, globally-minded education. We're thrilled to welcome students from around the world into our online learning community.
Joining Kinich High School means becoming part of a truly global community. Students will have the opportunity to interact with peers from different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives, enriching their own worldview.
Kinich High School is accredited by COGNIA and TEPSAC, which are internationally recognized for their rigorous standards. This means that a diploma from Kinich High School is recognized globally, and students can be assured of the quality of education they will receive.
Our online format allows students to learn from anywhere in the world, at a pace that suits their lifestyle. This means that no matter your time zone, you can access your courses and connect with teachers and peers at times that work for you.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNERS
If English isn't your first language, but you have an intermediate level, don't worry. We offer English language support to help students succeed in their coursework and improve their language skills.
Our curriculum includes a wide range of subjects, reflecting the global nature of our student body. In addition to core academic subjects, we offer enrichment programs in languages, arts, entrepreneurship, global studies, and more.
We offer a number of full scholarships each year through our Sustainable Futures Ed program. These scholarships, sponsored by CUBICO Investments, allow students to participate in a program designed to nurture future leaders in the field of climate change and sustainability.
STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
We offer a range of support services for our students, including academic counseling, college application assistance, and career guidance. Our dedicated staff members are always ready to help students navigate their high school journey and plan for the future.
Despite being an online school, we foster a sense of cultural exchange through various activities and events. These might include virtual international days, where students can share and learn about different cultures, traditions, and languages.
Are an integral part of our learning community
Your role involves providing a supportive learning environment at home, encouraging your child's independence, and engaging with the school to ensure your child's success. We are committed to maintaining an open line of communication and partnership with you throughout your child's educational journey with us.
We view education as a collaborative effort between the school, students, and parents. We will regularly communicate with you about your child's progress and any school updates, ensuring you are informed and can effectively support your child's learning journey.
We provide resources and training for parents to help them understand our learning management system, our approach to online learning, and how best to support their child's educational journey. We also have a dedicated team of advisors available to answer any questions you may have.
We use a secure, easy-to-navigate online learning management system where parents can access their child's grades, attendance records, and assignment feedback. This allows parents to stay updated on their child's academic progress and address any issues in a timely manner.
Despite being an online school, we foster a sense of community. We encourage parents to participate in virtual meetings, webinars, and school events. This is a great opportunity to connect with other parents, teachers, and the broader Kinich High School community.
SUPPORTING AUTONOMY AND INDEPENDENCE
Online learning helps students develop important skills like time management, organization, and self-motivation. As a parent, you can encourage these skills, but also allow your child the independence to manage their own learning.
COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS
We offer support in planning for the future. From exploring potential career paths to navigating the college application process, we're here to help.
